Service highlights this week
CPKC expects operating conditions to remain seasonal across our intermodal network this week.

We will continue to provide updates should conditions change with regard to potential network impacts.

Asset forecast this week

  1. Dry, DRP and PPS supply is adequate in the east
  2. Regina dry and PPS supply is tight this week, customers may want to consider the Equipment Guarantee program 
  3. Dry and PPS equipment is available at all other western locations

CPKC International now offers a new gateway in Mexico

Port Lazaro Cardenas: 

  1. 2nd largest port in Mexico. Congestion-free with tremendous growth potential 
  2. Supported by NEW Mexico-Midwest Express Intermodal Service from Mexico to Chicago 
  3. Most technologically advanced terminals in Mexico which is operated by APMT and Hutchison
  4. Over 2 million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) in annual capacity with multi-phase expansion plans ready
  5. Single-line access to key US destinations: Chicago, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, Jackson
  6. Texas Shortcut cuts weeks off all-water transit and provides new competitive alternative to access Dallas and Houston
