CPKC announces changes to KCSR tariffs

Dear Customer, 

At CPKC, now comprised of the CP, KCS U.S. and KCS Mexico railway networks, we strive to provide the safest, most reliable and best in class rail transportation service. As CPKC begins to integrate the rail networks to enable us to offer a truly unique North American single-line rail service, we are announcing changes to the U.S. KCSR tariff catalog in order to: 

• harmonize CPKC safety, accessorial and demurrage programs, applying long-established and proven operating practices
• optimize use of railway and customer assets
• support ‘door-to-door’ intermodal products
• incorporate a regular annual review of accessorial charges

Understanding that our customers may have questions or may require time to adapt to these changes, the effective date of the changes is August 1, 2023.
